Thomas Clay
FAME’s frontman – Thomas Clay’s journey into music started at age 3 when he first sat down at a piano. Self taught and playing by ear, his first “concert” was playing for his school at age 6. “I still remember that day, I was in catholic school, and well, you just do what you are told”.
Over his career that includes involving himself with a broadway musical, writing and directing feature films – Thomas’s first passion has always been making music, and performing infront of audiences.
“I quickly learned the tribute bands take a lot of serious dedication and commitment – and I never imagined that I would be involved in one – there is a handful of artist I would want to play tribute to; David Bowie is at the top of that list.”

Zach Phillips
Drummer – Zachary Phillips has been playing drums since age 15. His first band ‘Muphin Chuckrs’ released ten studio albums. Influences include Carter Beauford, Stewart Copeland and Chad Smith. Two of his favorite films, Labyrinth and The Prestige, feature performances by David Bowie.

Mark Skey
Guitarist – Playing professional for close to 30 years. Mark spent the early 90’s playing in the original rock band ‘Bodhisattva’ in Chicago, recorded 2 albums of original music produced by famed Nirvana producer Steve Albini. Bodhisattva opened many shows for national acts such as ‘Hole’, ‘Soundgarden’, ‘Kiss’s Ace Frehley’ and many others. After moving back to Florida Mark hosted multiple local jam nights, networked with many well known local musicians & worked as a freelance guitarist for many different artists in genres ranging from R&B, New country, classic & newer rock & roll. In 2016 Mark toured Mexico for 8 months with the American blues rock band ‘Crimino’.

Eric Smith
Keyboardist/Bassist – Raised in Golden, Colorado (home of a large brewery and gateway to the Rocky Mountains), Eric lived only a couple of miles away from one of the world’s greatest outdoor music venues, Red Rocks Amphitheater. Here he saw amazing artists at their peak: Billy Idol, Huey Lewis, Asia, REM, Dave Matthews, Sting, Depeche Mode and many more. Learning the drums first, he then branched into keys and guitar. First performance on guitar was in Disneyland for the high school choir. He went on to compose at the age of 12, and has written music with multiple bands/acts since, most notably, Exit 232, Like A Villain. Eric also co-founded the group Static Shore.

David G. Maki
Saxophonist – David is a seasoned saxophonist whose career spans a couple decades that began after college working on Carnival Cruise Lines for 3 1/2 years as a side man with the main showbands backing Vegas style shows and a wide array of variety acts. Once back on land he had performed with a multitude of bands to where one of his bands managed to win second place out of several hundred bands across the world in the famed International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. Recently he made a life altering move to sunny Florida to continue his pursuit of a music career and has not looked back.
